Freezer bikkies

The lovely Kooka on my craft forum put this one up for me. Its a great recipe for a busy parent, when you would love to have fresh bikkies on hand, but need a quick shortcut.

Freezer bikkies
500g butter
5 cups SR flour
1 cup sugar
380g tin sweetened condensed milk

Cream butter and sugar , stir in flour and condensed milk and any other things you want ( choc chips , m&m’s , sutanas and cinnamon , apricot and coconut etc ) . Roll into balls and flatten slightly on trays , bake for 10-15mins @ 180degrees .
If you want to freeze, I roll mix into log shape and freeze . Slice into discs and bake as usual when needed . I only let them thaw long enough for the oven to heat and they work fine . This makes about 6-7 logs or about 72 biccies .
